Social Media Manager
Социальные медиа мне интересны. К тому же я ищу работу в этом направлении, поэтому если Вам надо такой человек, то :) Перевести я решил потому, что Вам информация, а мне практика. Английский я знаю достаточно, но очень-очень хочу знать его лучше. Конечно можно пойти на курсы или может какие-то аудио-уроки скачать, но... не знаю, может и займусь этим вопросом когда-нибудь.
А пока-что учусь самопальным способом — читаю тексты и если чего-то не понимаю, перевожу в . Я надеюсь, что рубрика Translate станет постоянной.

5 качеств, которыми должен обладать хороший Social Media Manager
Я только что прочитал пост — "". Конечно эту тему можно рассматривать с другой точки зрения и это привело меня к мысли о том, чем СМ-менеджер должен обладать.
3 критерия, которые отметила Van Grove:
1) Интерес к познанию чего-то нового;
2) "Страсть" к своей работе;
3) Понимать бизнес-среду, в которой работаешь.
Я пересмотрел эти критерии и расширил их:
1. Вы понимаете технологии, но и любите людей. СМ-технологии — это средство для достижения цели, чтобы эффективнее общаться с потребителем и строить более лояльное отношение к вам. Тихий гик, любящий задротские футболки, знающий как использовать когда-либо выпущенные приложения для Твиттера, но никогда не общающийся с сотрудниками, скорее всего не подходит для этой работы.
Лучше всего подходит человек, ведущий активный образ жизни, который понимает что могут социальные медиа и хочет использовать это в отношении других людей — друзей, клиентов, потребителей, людей с такими же интересами и т.д. Если это ты, не беспокойся подходишь ли ты на эту должность. Ты подходишь.
2. Ты открыт для новых познаний. Конечно же ты разбираешься во всех процессах, происходящих в фирме и на рынке в целом. Но ты всегда должен пытаться смотреть на это всё как-бы "со стороны". Эмпатия — для хорошего см-менеджера это необходимо.
3. Ты осмысливающий, а не импульсивный. См-менеджер — это не только писать позитивные отзывы в Твиттер и создавать виртуальный бренд. Тут много давления. Многие организации не тратятся на социальные медиа, оценить эффективность (особенно краткосрочную) затрат на СМ довольно трудно, не все сотрудники поймут то, чем ты занимаешься. Поэтому непонимающие (или даже ненавистники) могут регулярно испытывать твоё терпение. Если ты сможешь с этим справиться, то сможешь быть см-менеджером.
4. Ты мыслишь стратегически. Хороший см-менеджер понимает цели организации в социальных медиа и работает на их достижение. Особенно важно, он должен суметь объяснить эти цели сотрудникам.
5. Ты командный игрок, а не "звезда". В этом бизнесе много тщеславия, постоянно кто-то объявляет себя "гуру" если у него много фолловеров в Твиттере и куча опыта в выступлениях на "конференциях". Много неправильных решений было принято самопровозглашенными гуру социальных медиа. Хороший см-менеджер всегда прислушается к коллегам, поблагодарит их за помощь и в случае чего возьмет на себя вину за свою ошибку.
Это те качества, которые более всего ценны в см-менеджере. Пишите, если считаете, что в этот список нужно что-то добавить.

Социальные медиа стремительно становятся тем же самым: инструментом, а не способом. Ваш см-менеджер не забирает работу в социальных медиа у других, его работа — это помогать другим более эффективно использовать соц.медиа для построения бизнеса.
Сейчас Вы скажете "О нет! Мы так ничего и за целый день не сделаем, если будем тратить всё время на Твиттер/Фейсбук/всётакое!" Остановитесь на секунду. Что все говорят, когда приходит деловое электронное письмо? Что это помогает вашей компании развиваться и "делать дела". Вы используете это, и это помогает Вам делать Вашу работу.
Что должен делать менеджер социальных медиа
Постоянно объяснять Вам и сотрудникам как надо общаться в Твиттере, Фейсбуке, через корпоративный блог и любым другим способом. Заметьте, я сказал 'постоянно'. Он не должен сидеть с вами по 4 часа в день, устраивать мозговые штурмы и делать вас более способными к онлайн-общению. Это делается шаг за шагом.
Он должен сидеть возле человека, обслуживающего клиентов через Твиттер. Он может помочь вам ответить комментарием в блоге так, что бы не настроить против себя потребителей. Обучение, как и практика — никогда не заканчиваются.
Отслеживать упоминания о вашем бренде. Ваш см-менеджер постоянно отслеживает какие-либо упоминания о вас в интернете. Он должен знать, скажут потребители про вас хорошо или плохо еще до того, как они это скажут. Да, 'мониторинг' включает в себя и 'анализ'.
Так же он должен разрабатывать стратегию. См-менеджер поможет развитию бизнеса с помощью социальных медиа, а так же разработает возможности использования СМ в качестве ресурса. Это еще одна "стрела" вашего интернет-маркетинга и цель менеджера — сделать так, что бы "стрелы" всегда попадали в цель.
Это больше не по желанию
Вау, это отнимает больше времени, чем вы думали. Может просто пропустить.
Ох.
Стратегия продвижения в социальных медиа разрабатывается уже не по желанию, как и человек, следящий за ней. Это необходимость.
Ок, не надо увольнять вашего см-менеджера
Не увольняйте его! Дайте ему правильную работу. Ваш см-менеджер — это тренер, стратегический эксперт и специалист по мониторингу.
Сфокусируйтесь на этих трёх задачах и скоро социальные медиа станут обычным инструментом для всех в компании, как и телефон у них на столе.

См -менеджер это больше западный уклон.А Россия думаю по менталитету все же ближе к востоку.Хотя и до востока нам далеко.Думаю у нас должен быть свой особенный путь.

Спасибо за пост. Насчет целесообразности медиа менеджера – думаю, что с такой работой можно прекрасно справиться самому, но если времени катастрофически не хватает, то вполне можно и воспользоваться услугами менеджера. Рубрика "translate" оригинальная, сенькс. Удачи в изучении английского.

См-менеджеры пока что не нужны России и вряд ли понадобятся ближайшие лет 10) А если хочешь знать англ. хорошо, а не просто знать, то курсы не помогут( нужно месяца на 3 ехать в англоговорящую семью – не дорого, и язык хочень не хочешь выучишь!
